Pardon application noted that Paul’s mommy raised millions for Trump and was linked to Biden diary plot
Donald Trump pardoned Paul Walczak on April 23, 2025, after Walczak was convicted of tax evasion. Walczak, the son of a wealthy Republican donor, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for siphoning over $10.9 million in payroll taxes from his healthcare companies, which included NuVista, Palm Health Partners, FW Healthcare Investors, and PHP Employment Services (PHPES). Prosecutors stated that Walczak withheld over $7.4 million in trust-fund taxes (Social Security, Medicare, and federal income taxes) from employees between 2016 and 2019 and failed to pay $3.5 million in employer-side payroll taxes. Instead of paying the IRS, Walczak allegedly used the money to fund a luxurious lifestyle, including a $2 million yacht and purchases from high-end stores. The pardon comes less than 3 weeks after his mother attended a million dollar a person fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago. This pardon was the first individual clemency granted by Trump in Florida’s district courts in 2025, outside of his blanket clemency order for January 6 defendants.
The pardon allows the criminal to avoid having to pay nearly $4.4 million in restitution and from reporting to prison for an 18-month sentence.
